The Florida Army National Guard is a state force that helps our communities during national disasters, serve in combat missions, are deployed in security and humanitarian missions.
There are almost 2 million children whose parents (Mom/Dad) who serve as Active Duty, Guard or Reserve. 80% of these children, attend U.S. public schools. Over 2 million children have a mother or a father who has served in Iraq or Afghanistan. Source: Military Child Education Coalition.
