The Student Assessment & Research Department compiled data for Average Daily Attendance (ADA) for school years 2013/14, 2014/15, and 2015/16. Student attendance has been correlated to academic achievement by the U.S. Department of Education. This report provides a snapshot of district-wide attendance for all public schools from elementary, middle, high, multi-level schools and centers. ADA increased from 93.7% to 94.6% between 2013/14 and 2015/16.
Future reports from the Attendance Office, in cooperation with the Department of Student Assessment & Research, will include associations between attendance and academic achievement.
